Meat L'Ogre

Ogre Meatloaf - I bet you like comfort food as much as I do. Too bad your mom didn’t have Ogre Sauce while you were growing up, but your kids will thank you.

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup crushed pork rinds
- 1 cup Ogre Sauce, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 4 slices of bread (day-old or loaf ends)

1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix chicken, beef, pork rinds, ½ cup of Ogre Sauce, eggs, and soup mix together until well mixed.
3. Arrange the slices of bread in the bottom of a baking pan.
4. Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it on top of the bread.
5. Bake for 45-60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 155°F.
6. Let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
7. After slicing, remove bread from the bottom of each slice and pour the remaining Ogre Sauce over the slices.
8. Sear each slice in a hot skillet to form a crust.
